The Martí Barnils company has turned 88 years old. Founded in 1920 by Martí Barnils Moncau, along with his brother, Joan, they set up shop on c/Almogàvers 16, just in the outskirts of the Granollers of that time.
The grandfather went from village to village at the crack of dawn, visiting all the slaughterhouses of the county, buying all the tripe from the lambs, pigs and veal that was killed every day. When he got home, summer or winter, he would use cold water to create all sorts of tripe used to make sausages, even "catgut" string, dried lamb tripe that was used to suture in surgical operations.

When the second generation of Martí and Toni Barnils took over, the business grew, using new tools and optimizing the business logistics to provide better customer service with a large variety of new products.

The third generation is currently involved and with their qualified staff, we reach domestic vendors and importers, and our shop services all of Catalonia and the rest of Spain.

Our strengths are tripe, prepared items, additives and spices for all sorts of sausages and everything needed for restaurant service. We represent top industrial brands such as CONDIMENTOS SANCAN, MANUFACTURAS CEILAN, PILARICO, PRODUCTOS RUCA and ASA PIMENTON.
